Dr John Hurst

John Hurst is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at University College London, UK and a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the Royal Free Hospital in London.  His primary clinical and research interest is in airway diseases such as COPD and bronchiectasis.  He is the respiratory lead for the joint Immunology-Respiratory service at the Royal Free, the largest UK clinic for people living with primary immunodeficiency.  He is the respiratory co-chair of the European Respiratory Society-funded ‘Clinical Research Collaboration’ to address Granulomatous-Lymphocytic Interstitial Lung Disease (GLILD) and he has published original research and review articles on the lung manifestations of primary immunodeficiency.
